Support & Advice
My one piece of advice... GET INVOLVED!
Gemma Hopwood, Acting for Film student
Being a student at Chichester is like a huge family. Because it's a small university, you get to know so many people, and you see so many people you know just walking around campus or through the city centre. On the Bishop Otter campus there is a really nice mix of people on a range of courses from acting, to dance, to history, to sport. The societies and clubs Chi has to offer are also amazing, I joined Lacrosse this year and I've loved every second of it!
I'm a real sucker for the SU events! The colour run was actually on my birthday this year and was so much fun. I didn't really know what to expect as it's the first year the university has hosted one, and I've never done one before, but it was great. Also, the paint colours were obviously the WSIHE colours, but the yellow did not want to come out of my clothes in the wash! Other than that - such a fun way to spend the day.
RAG Race... What a day! I loved it! I'd never been to the Bognor campus before RAG but it was a great way to explore the town with so many people in dress up just drinking and having fun. Also, Sheiks in the day time on the beach front was stunning!
WSIHE Wednesdays are an absolute classic and unmissable. I'd urge anyone to just join a sports team to get involved with socials and WSIHE nights out!
